In sugar producing process, syrup made from sugar beets or sugar cane contains substances such as starch, fiber, gluten. The substances must be separated from the syrup. The resulting syrup should be smooth and have a certain viscosity, so Haddok oils are used as a viscosity reducer.

A viscosity reducer fluid is based on plant and non-ionic materials. By lubricating the syrup, this product lessens the boiling time, heats the syrup evenly and finally increases the extraction rate.
